This show begins with Edwardsville High School senior wrestler Jorden Johnson who explains how he got started in wrestling and what motivates him to greatness. Next, 3A MESPY Winner for Girls XC Runner of the Year, Peyton Schieppe, discusses her incredible career at O’Fallon THS and her goals for the future including running at Bradley University. Her coach, Neal James, talks about Schieppe’s impact on his very successful program, and he reflects on his team’s MESPY-winning season for 3A Girls XC Team of the Year. Then, Triad Boys Soccer Coach Jim Jackson talks about coaching his MESPY-winning, state-finalist squad this season, which only had one loss, and included 25-straight wins. Coach Jackson is joined by All-State performers and co-MESPY winners for 2A Player of the Year Jake Ellis (midfielder) and David DuPont (goalie), who talk about their amazing season, and the boys share their goals for the future. Finally, Kahok Boys Soccer Coach Rob Lugge and all-state forward, Adam Reineger, talk about their Sectional-winning, conference-winning, MESPY-winning season.
